Schedule of Activities (subject to change)
Hikes
Hikes will be led by experienced trail guides. Learn about the wildflowers, birds, wildlife, geology, and history of Stone Mountain!
o Walk-up Trail - 1 mile 9:15 am (on demand rest of day)
o Weight Watchers Hike – 6 miles 9:15 am and 1:00 pm
o Bird Watchers Hike – 2 Miles 9:30 am
o Nature Trail - 1 Mile 9:30 am
*Good for families with young children!
o Cherokee Trail – 6 miles 9:45 am (on demand rest of day)
o Creek Walk for kids 10:00 am and 1:15 pm
*Good for families with young children! Wear old tennis shoes or water shoes.
o Wildflowers of Stone Mountain 10:30 am
*Led by Marshall Wilson of the Georgia Native Plant Society
o Hiking with your Dog 1:00 pm
* Dogs must be leashed.
Sign-up for all hikes will be at the Walk-up Trail Plaza. Wear athletic shoes or hiking boots. Hikers will be provided with complimentary bottled water and snack.
